* WHAT...West winds 20 to 35 mph with isolated gusts up to 60 mph
possible.
* WHERE...Northern Oneida, Yates, Seneca, Southern Cayuga,
Onondaga, Madison and Southern Oneida counties.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power
lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty south to southwest winds will develop
ahead of a cold front Wednesday afternoon. The front may be
accompanied by sudden stronger wind gusts, with winds shifting
to the west in its wake. Winds will remain strong and gusty well
into the night, as much colder air also quickly moves into the
area.
