A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Illinois, including the
following counties, De Kalb and Lee.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 602 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated a line of
thunderstorms with heavy rainfall continuing to move over
portions of the area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible with
these storms, with storm total rainfall of 1-3 inches
possible.

DeKalb, Dixon, Sandwich, Amboy, Shabbona, Lake Holiday,
Hinckley, Somonauk, Waterman, Franklin Grove, Ashton, Paw
