Patchy blowing snow continues across Marquette County this morning even as snowfall rates have lightened up. Visibilities could become sharply reduced within the blowing snow, particularly near the Lake Superior shoreline. In addition, northwest winds could gust to as high as 45 mph at times, and an additional one to two inches could fall over the Huron Mountains to Marquette to east of US-41 south of Marquette. Therefore, take extra caution if traveling this morning; leave some extra space for the car in front of you and drive with your low-beam headlights on.
