A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and sustained wind
speeds of 15 mph or more will create low wind chills. Frost bite
and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken.
Surface observations indicate that patchy fog is developing and
persisting across the Lower Rio Grande Valley and South Padre
Island, with visibilities being reduced generally to between 2 to
5 miles.
Motorists are urged to reduce speed, use low beam headlights, and
avoid tailgating in any fog through the next couple of hours.
