The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...
Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville affecting Crawford, Talbot,
Taylor and Upson Counties.
For the Flint River Basin...including Carsonville...Minor flooding
is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville.
* WHEN...From Saturday morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 25 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Access Road to
boat ramp and parking lot to boat ramp flood. In addition...
flooding of most of the land at the bend of the river upstream
develops.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:45 AM EST Friday the stage was 12.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 13.2 feet this morning. It
will then fall to 12.8 feet this evening. It will rise above
flood stage late tomorrow morning to 24.9 feet Sunday
evening. It will then fall again but remain above flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 18 feet.
