trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
* WHAT...Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 mph
expected for the base of the northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
* WHERE...Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong cross winds are expected along
Highway 11 from Pendleton to Milton-Freewater and along
Interstate 84 near Cabbage Hill.
