Ocmulgee River at Abbeville affecting Dodge, Wilcox and Telfair Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 26 feet, Moderate flooding begins...with several homes surrounded by flood waters and at least 3 homes begin flooding near Gooseneck Lane and RiverView Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 PM EST Saturday the stage was 13.6 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 25.7 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 20 feet.
