Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...
Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville affecting Talbot, Crawford,
Taylor and Upson Counties.
For the Flint River Basin...including Carsonville...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville.
* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 25 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Access Road to
boat ramp and parking lot to boat ramp flood. In addition,
flooding of most of the land at the bend of the river upstream
develops.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:15 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 25.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.9
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 18 feet.
