deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...
Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville affecting Talbot, Upson,
Taylor and Crawford Counties.
Flint River near Griffin affecting Spalding and Fayette Counties.
Flint River at GA 26 near Montezuma affecting Sumter, Macon and
Dooly Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding will continue.
* WHERE...Flint River at US 19 near Carsonville.
* WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 25 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Access Road to
boat ramp and parking lot to boat ramp flood. In addition...
flooding of most of the land at the bend of the river upstream
develops.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 25.4 feet falling.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM EDT Sunday was 26.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Tuesday morning and continue falling to 6.8 feet by Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 18 feet.
