Choctawhatchee River near Caryville (US 90) affecting Washington
and Holmes Counties.
For the Choctawhatchee River...including Geneva (SR 52), Caryville
(US 90), Bruce (SR 20)...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Choctawhatchee River near Caryville (US 90).
* WHEN...From Tuesday evening to early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, In Holmes County, Boat Ramp Road south of
CR-179 will flood. Access to several of the fish camps off Boat
Ramp Road may become inaccessible above this level.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 14.1 feet early Wednesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
14.1 feet on 01/25/2017.
