Hawkinsville, Clinchfield, Abbeville, McRae, Scotland, Lumber City...
Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville.
* WHEN...Until late Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 25 feet, Minor flooding occurs...with some roads
closed with access to residences. RiverView Road closes to
residents.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 25 feet and falling.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 18.5 feet Monday
evening.
