The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia... Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville affecting Bleckley and Pulaski Counties. For the Ocmulgee River Basin...including Jackson, Griffin, Juliette, Juliette, Dames Ferry, Macon, Macon, Hawkinsville, Byron, Hawkinsville, Clinchfield, Abbeville, McRae, Scotland, Lumber City... Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ocmulgee River at US 341 at Hawkinsville. * WHEN...Until late Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 25 feet, Minor flooding occurs...with some roads closed with access to residences. RiverView Road closes to residents. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 25 feet and falling. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 18.5 feet Monday evening. - Flood stage is 20 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
