A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT/1100
AM EDT/ for east central Illinois.
At 825 AM CDT/925 AM EDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles west of Morocco to
near Sheldon. Movement was northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
