At 145 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Queen Valley, or 8 miles west of Superior, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Superior, Florence Junction, Queen Valley, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Gold Camp, and Tortilla Flat. This includes the following highways... US Highway 60 between mile markers 209 and 225. AZ Route 79 between mile markers 147 and 150.
