HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow showers accompanied by winds of up to 30 MPH which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than a quarter of a mile. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 414 PM EDT, a band of heavy snow showers was along a line extending from near Minerva to near Hagaman and moving east at 30 MPH. THIS BAND OF HEAVY SNOW WILL BE NEAR... Hagaman, Eagle Point Campground, Scaroon Manor Public Campground, Day Center, and Chestertown around 420 PM EDT. Warrensburg and Galway around 425 PM EDT. Lake Luzerne-Hadley and Lake Luzerne Campground around 430 PM EDT. Corinth and Rock City Falls around 435 PM EDT. Saratoga Springs, Lake George Village, Milton, Ballston Spa, North Ballston Spa, and Bolton Landing around 440 PM EDT. Glens Falls North and West Glens Falls around 445 PM EDT. Glens Falls, Hague, Rogers Rock Campground, and Huletts Landing around 450 PM EDT. Hudson Falls and Fort Edward around 500 PM EDT. This includes the following highways... Interstate 90 between exits 26 and 27. Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 4c. Interstate 87 between exits 8A and 26. SAFETY INFO... Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this band of heavy snow. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may lead to accidents. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
