Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for southeastern
Florida.
At 902 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout near
Intersection Alligator Alley And Miami Canal, or 23 miles west of
Sunrise, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and nickel size
hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
objects.

Sunrise, Weston, Mile Marker 30 On Alligator Alley, Intersection
Alligator Alley And Miami Canal, East Toll Gate On Alligator Alley,
Intersection I-75 And U.S. 27, Markham Park, and West Broward Rec.
Area On Alligator Alley.
