SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...
The advisory for the western tier of counties is being extended
through 1pm due to increased blowing snow potential, leading to
further travel impacts. New snow accumulations are on the downward
trend and will continue as such for the next few hours, however
visibility is expected to remain poor as the fresh snow this
morning blows around in the 25-30mph gusting winds. Improvement is
expected during the afternoon and evening as the system continues
to push eastwards and winds begin to relax.
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two
inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Todd County.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM CDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning commute.
