Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Georgia, including
the following counties, in south central Georgia, Thomas. In
southwest Georgia, Grady.
* WHEN...Until 815 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 544 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Reports of flooding over the road at Lawhorn and Dillon.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Dawesville, Pasco, Beachton, Moncrief, Princes Still, Rocky
