Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Georgia, including
the following counties, in south central Georgia, Thomas. In
southwest Georgia, Grady.
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of
water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 752 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in Lawhorn and Dillon.
Between 3 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Lawhorn and Dillon is the most likely place to experience
minor flooding.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Thomasville, Cairo, Ochlocknee, Pine Park, Grady Co A/p,
Dawesville, Pasco, Beachton, Moncrief, Princes Still, Rocky
Hill, Dillon, Reno, Thomasville Municipal A/P, Merrillville,
