Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, In Richmond, the Wood River blocks sections
of Tall Timbers Drive, Leroy Drive, Wood River Circle and Wood
River Drive. Dow Field off of Main Street in Hopkinton is
substantially flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:15 AM EDT Friday the stage was 5.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:15 AM EDT Friday was 5.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 6.8
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage early Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
