drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Illinois, including the following
county, Cook and northwest Indiana, including the following
county, Lake.
* WHEN...Until noon CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 804 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2.5
inches of rain have fallen.

Hammond, Gary, Tinley Park, Calumet City, Merrillville,
Chicago Heights, East Chicago, Schererville, Lansing, Oak
Forest, Harvey, Highland, Munster, Dolton, Park Forest,
Homewood, Matteson, Frankfort, Steger and South Holland.
