accumulations greater than 6 inches and sleet accumulations
greater than three quarters of an inch possible. Winds could gust
as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.
* WHEN...From Wednesday morning through late Thursday night.
* IMPACTS...Periods of moderate and heavy snow will combine with
gusty winds and low visibility to create dangerous driving
conditions. Delay travel; use extreme caution if travel is
necessary. The combination of strong, gusty winds and heavy, wet
snow on tree limbs may cause tree damage resulting in downed power
lines and power outages. The hazardous conditions could impact the
Wednesday morning commute, and will likely impact the Wednesday
evening and Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This is a expected to be a long-duration,
multi-faceted event. While precipitation starts early Wednesday,
intensity will increase Wednesday night into Thursday when some of
the heaviest rates may fall accompanied by strong, gusty winds. Be
