Locally dense fog will impact Marion, Alachua, Gilchrist, and Putnam counties through the early morning hours today. Visibility at a quarter of a mile have been reported. Visibilities may slowly improve by 9 AM. Motorists should remain alert for sudden changes in visibility, especially in low spots and near marshes, rivers, creeks or lakes.
