A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures will create ideal conditions for rapid spread of wildfires.
GUSTY WINDS AND DRY VEGETATION WILL MAINTAIN A HIGH FIRE THREAT... * WIND...East wind 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Winds could be slightly higher in the higher terrain. * HUMIDITY...50 to 60 percent, especially from late morning through sunset. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Conditions will ease during the nighttime hours, then return during the daytime.
