Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Very strong northeast winds have raised water levels on the southern end of the Bay of Green Bay. These winds will continue through the rest of tonight and may create localized flooding, especially on the confluence of the Fox River and East River. * WHAT...Hydrologic flooding caused by strong northeast winds. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Wisconsin, including the following county, central Brown. * WHEN...Until 745 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding is possible, mainly on the north side of the city of Green Bay. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 PM CDT, rapid river rises may cause minor flooding in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
