Secure loose outdoor objects in a safe location prior to the onset
of winds. Examples of loose objects include, but are not limited to
garbage bins, trampolines, and outdoor furniture.
* WHAT...South-southwest winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 50 to
65 mph possible.
* WHERE...Much of northern Arizona with the strongest winds along
and northeast of the Kaibab Plateau, Black Mesa, Chuska Mountains,
Mogollon Rim, and White Mountains.
* WHEN...From Thursday evening through Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Localized power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Areas of blowing dust will
lead to reduced visibilities, resulting in hazardous driving
conditions.
