A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM EDT for northeastern
Florida. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for
northern and northeastern Florida.
At 1055 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Macclenny to near Alachua. Movement was
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Starke, Keystone Heights, Melrose,
Unf, Mandarin, Fruit Cove, Middleburg, and Atlantic Beach.
