The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers...
Scioto River at Piketon.
Scioto River at Circleville.
Scioto River at Chillicothe.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Scioto River at Piketon.
* WHEN...Until late Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Backwater flooding worsens along creeks
flowing into the Scioto River. Stretches of several low-lying
roads near the river are flooded. Scioto and Camp Creek Townships
in southern Pike County experience the most significant flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 21.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.1
feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
