A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels will contribute to
extreme fire behavior.
The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag
Warning for critical fire weather conditions, which is in effect
from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM CDT this evening.
* WINDS...South at 20 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Mid 80s.
* FUELS...Dry to Critically Dry.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Any
outdoor activity that could produce flames or sparks is
discouraged.
