flood deaths occur in vehicles.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southern New Jersey, including the following
counties, Cumberland and Salem.
* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Stream levels remain
elevated due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1204 AM EDT, flooding was ongoing across portions of the
warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen
this week.
- For Maurice River at Norma:
At 11:15pm the stage was 4.29 feet and falling.
Flood Stage is 4 feet.
