The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Massachusetts...Rhode Island... Charles River At Dover affecting Middlesex and Norfolk Counties. Pawcatuck River At Wood River Junction affecting Washington County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Connecticut...Rhode Island...Massachusetts... Pawcatuck River At Westerly affecting New London and Washington Counties. Taunton River Near Bridgewater affecting Plymouth and Bristol Counties. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Rhode Island... Pawtuxet River At Cranston affecting Kent and Providence Counties. For the Charles River...including Dover...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Pawcatuck River...including Wood River Junction, Westerly... Minor flooding is forecast. For the Taunton River...including Bridgewater...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Taunton River near Bridgewater. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Backwater flooding from the Taunton River will cause flooding of lower Purchade Brook in Middleboro. This will cause Woloski Park to become impassable by most vehicles for an extended period of time. Beware of the dangers of crossing flooded roadways. The water may be deeper than you think. Floodwaters have the ability to damage roadways. Heed the advice of local officials, and evacuate if asked to do so. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 9.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Saturday was 9.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Monday evening and continue falling to 7.7 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
