The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Ohio...
West Virginia...
Ohio River At Point Pleasant affecting Mason and Gallia Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Ohio River at Point Pleasant.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, Low-lying areas surrounding Point Pleasant
and vicinity are flooded due to backwater. Also, the amphitheater
lower pier is flooded and half way up the steps. Salt Creek Road,
Hannan Trace Road, Huntington Road at Boggs Run Road and Mason
Eighty Road start to flood.
At 41.0 feet, The Addison, Blaville Road in Ohio is flooded and
low lying areas surrounding Point Pleasant and vicinity are
flooded due to backwater.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 41.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 AM EDT Sunday was 42.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this afternoon and continue falling to 26.0 feet Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
