deaths occur in vehicles.

at 1-888-383-2024 or email your reports to nws.charlestonsc@noaa.gov.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following
counties, Bryan and Chatham.
* WHEN...Until 915 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 613 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Automated rain gauges across Chatham County report that 1 to
1.5 inches of rain has already fallen this morning. Very
intense rainfall is moving across the area now, and hourly
rainfall rates will increase into the 1 to 2 inch per hour
range. Minor flooding of roads and travel disruptions can be
expected in and around Savannah, Richmond Hill, Garden City,
and other areas.

Windsor Forest, Midtown Savannah, Downtown Savannah, Coffee
Bluff, Hutchinson Island, I-16/I-95 Interchange, Wilmington
Island, Savannah International Airport, Godley Station, Fort
Pulaski National Monument, Montgomery, Garden City, Port
Wentworth, Bloomingdale, Thunderbolt and Vernonburg.
