Rd), Quitman (US 84), Pinetta (CR 150)...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue.
* WHERE...Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd).
* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 140.0 feet, Highway 122 east flooded near bridge.
Water intrudes into backyards along Winding Way, Park Lane, and
Meadowbrook Drive.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 137.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM EDT Thursday was 137.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 138.7
feet early Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 135.0 feet.
