For the Spring Creek...including Iron City (CR 16)...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Spring Creek near Iron City (CR 16). * WHEN...From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flood waters approach homes near Yates Road and Smith Landing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening and continue rising to a crest of 18.4 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.4 feet on 01/28/1978. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
