The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
White River.
Eel River at Bowling Green.
.Rainfall of 2 inches to over 4 inches fell over central Indiana
over the last couple of days. This is bringing most creeks and
streams out of their banks and producing minor to moderate flooding
along the main stem rivers in central Indiana. Additional rainfall
next week could worsen flooding.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Noblesville.
* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Extensive flooding occurs in both
Riverbend and White River campgrounds. High water affects two
businesses near SR 19 on the west side of Noblesville. Roads in
residential areas of Riverwood, Clare, and Strawtown begin to
flood. Flooding of roads begins in residential areas of Trails
End near E 116th Street, near East 146th Street, and in gravel pit
areas along the White River from East 96th Street north to
Noblesville.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 15.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Friday was 15.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.8
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
