The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in West Virginia...Ohio... Ohio River At Point Pleasant affecting Mason and Gallia Counties. For the Ohio River...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Point Pleasant. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 44.0 feet, Homes at the end of 2nd Street outside the flood wall in Point Pleasant are flooded. Little Kyger Gravel Hill Road at Kyger Creek is flooded. At 44.3 feet, Old Route 35 above Henderson is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 40.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:00 AM EDT Saturday was 40.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 44.6 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 40.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 44.6 feet on 03/06/2015. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
