Ohio River At Point Pleasant affecting Gallia and Mason Counties.
For the Ohio River...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ohio River at Point Pleasant.
* WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, Ohio Route 7 at Kyger Creek and Addison is
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 41.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 AM EDT Saturday was 41.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 43.2
feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
43.1 feet on 03/25/1912.
