The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... White River from Anderson downstream to Hazleton, except at Indianapolis. .Rainfall of 2 inches to over 4 inches fell over central Indiana earlier this week. This is bringing most creeks and streams out of their banks and producing minor to moderate flooding along rivers and streams in central Indiana. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Anderson. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of Irondale Park, Madison Avenue Park, Mounds State Park, and low agricultural land begins. Grand Avenue east of Broadway Street Bridge is nearly impassable. City of Anderson closes off Edgewater Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 AM EDT Saturday was 16.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
