The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Florida...
Ochlockonee River near Havana (US 27) affecting Gadsden and Leon
Counties.
For the Ochlockonee River...including Havana (US 27)...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ochlockonee River near Havana (US 27).
* WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Water spreads out across the flood plain
on both banks of the river further inundating wooded areas. The
boat ramp at Iron Bridge Road (CR-153) in Gadsden County is
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 24.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 28.7
feet Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
28.7 feet on 04/14/1958.
