At 910 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lac Du Flambeau, or 14 miles southeast of Turtle Flambeau Flowage, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Rhinelander, Eagle River, Lac Du Flambeau, Newbold, Phelps, Squirrel Lake, Crystal Lake Scout Reservation, Rainbow Flowage, Minocqua, and Arbor Vitae.
