* Carry tire chains and be prepared for snow covered roads and
limited visibilities.

* A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause travel difficulties.
* WHAT...Wet snow above 4000 feet. Additional snow accumulations
of up to 6 inches. The highest amounts will be in the mountains.
* WHERE...Western Siskiyou County and South Central Siskiyou
County. This includes Highway 89 at Snowmans Hill Summit and
near Pondosa, higher portions of Sawyers Bar Road and Highway 3
south of Callahan.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM PDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS....Snow levels will be at a minimum and
snowfall rates will be at a maximum until around sunrise, with
an accumulation of snow possible down to 3500 feet. Snow levels
will gradually rise to around 4500 feet today with snow tapering
off in the afternoon.
