For the Ohio River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Ashland. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 52.0 feet, Minor flooding of roads in low lying areas begin to flood due to backwater from creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM EDT Monday the stage was 52.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 AM EDT Monday was 52.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 52.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 52.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 52.1 feet on 12/24/2018. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
