The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida...
Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51) affecting Lafayette and
Suwannee Counties.
For the Middle Suwannee River...including Luraville (SR 51)...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51).
* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, Agricultural and timber lands flooded. In
Suwannee County flooding begins to affect the western portion of
290th drive near Boeing Drive.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 34.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening and continue rising to 37.6 feet early Sunday
morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
37.8 feet on 12/26/2018.
