At 311 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Mount Vernon to near Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Anamosa, Tipton, West Branch, Mechanicsville, Stanwood, Mount Vernon, Monticello, Lisbon, Solon, Olin, Martelle, Morley, Center Junction, Stone City, Viola, Langworthy, Buchanan, Clarence, Cedar Valley, and Sutliff. This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 251 and 259.
