The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi...
Big Black River At West affecting Holmes and Attala Counties.
Big Black River Near Bovina affecting Warren and Hinds Counties.
Big Black River Near Bentonia affecting Yazoo and Madison
Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Big Black River near Bovina.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 38 feet, water is across the road near the Old
Highway 80 bridge. Extensive flooding of agricultural land is
occurring. Several local access roads are also underwater.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 38.4 feet and nearly
steady.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall very slowly through
early next week, falling below 38 feet this weekend.
- Flood stage is 28 feet.
