The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida... Suwannee River near Wilcox (US 19) affecting Dixie, Gilchrist and Levy Counties. For the Lower Suwannee River...including Wilcox (US 19)...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Suwannee River near Wilcox (US 19). * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, In Gilchrist County, water floods much of SW County Road 344 West of SW 80th avenue. In Dixie County, homes on Water Street at Pervis Landing are inaccessible. Flooding begins at the Suwannee River RV Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 8.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Wednesday afternoon and continue rising to 10.2 feet Thursday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.0 feet on 08/17/2021. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
