The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 013 Sherman, 027 Wallace,
028 Logan, 041 Greeley, 042 Wichita, 253 Kit Carson and 254
Cheyenne.
* WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.
* IMPACTS...If critical fire weather conditions develop, fires
will be hard to control and will spread easier.
