At 606 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northeast of Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area, or
20 miles southeast of Curtis, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Gosper
and Dawson Counties, including the following locations... Farnam.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 210 and 244.
