The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada... Owyhee River Below Wildhorse affecting Elko County. .High mountain snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause the river flows to become high. Expect elevated river flows downstream from the dam. For the Owyhee River...including Wildhorse Dam, Wildhorse, Mountain City...elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT...Elevated river flows caused by snow melt and upstream dam releases are expected. * WHERE...Owyhee River below Wildhorse. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, Flood stage; minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 AM PDT Friday the stage was 3.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 3.0 feet. - Forecast...The river could rise above minor flood stage this weekend.
