Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Oklahoma...
East Cache Creek near Walters affecting Cotton and Comanche
Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...East Cache Creek near Walters.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flood depths to 1 foot occur over
croplands... pastures... and low-lying local roads along and near
the creek in southern Comanche County and Cotton County.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to a crest of 22.5 feet this
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage by this
evening.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
